Augustana understands the value and impact that military members have on communities all over the world — recognizing that this university would not be the place it is without these students, faculty and staff. In honor of Military Appreciation Month, observed in the U.S. and dedicated to people who are currently in the military or have resigned from duty, Augustana is featuring Matthew Erickson.

Augustana is proud to announce that Stephanie Herseth Sandlin will serve a second term as president of the university. Herseth Sandlin will officially begin serving her second 6-year term on Aug. 1.

ҹɫ��Ƶapp is excited to announce that its seventh annual Giving Day will take place on Friday, May 12. Giving Day 2023 allows the Augustana community to “Go for Bold” in support of the university's enduring commitments, as well as several special initiatives.

In October 2021, ҹɫ��Ƶapp announced that it will be home to the Viking Men’s Hockey program — set to take the ice in the fall of 2023. CorTrust Bank and the Hopkins family is generously supporting Midco Arena as founding partners.

Augustana understands the value and impact that historically marginalized people have on communities all over the world — recognizing that this university would not be the place it is without these students, faculty and staff. For the month of May — Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month — Augustana is featuring Dr. Shu Li.

ҹɫ��Ƶapp will offer science writing as a minor beginning in the fall — adding to the list of interdisciplinary academic programs being developed as part of Augustana’s strategic plan .
