ҹɫ��Ƶapp is proud to announce that its School of Music (SoM) has teamed up with the Sioux Falls Jazz & Blues (SFJB) Society to provide more outreach to middle and high school students in South Dakota through SFJB’s .

Augustana’s student-run publications, the Edda and The Augustana Mirror, placed in the top 10 of their respective categories in the 2021 at the National College Media Convention.

Augustana alumni Hilina Teferra and Meti Shiferaw ‘14 were the university’s first international students from Ethiopia. Their bravery led to more than 100 Ethiopian enrollments at AU over the last decade.

In conjunction with several university and student groups on campus, Augustana’s International Programs Office (IPO) is proud to celebrate International Education Week (IEW), beginning Sunday, Oct. 31, through Friday, Nov. 5.

Dating back to the early 20th century, Lutheran Normal School (which would later merge with Augustana College) was providing experiential learning for future elementary school teachers. “The Model School” or “Campus Training School” was created to bridge the gap between normal school and higher education.

Augustana has always been committed to the well-being of every student, and now, a model has been developed integrating the key dimensions of well-being, and highlighting the interdisciplinary connections to success.
