The university is excited to announce that a total of 2,022 students — including part- and full-time undergraduate and graduate students — have chosen to embark on a bold future at Augustana.

Ten Augustana students spent three weeks this summer in the wilderness of Alaska, which served as their classroom for a nature writing course while narrowly escaping the wrath of mother nature.  

Five distinguished Augustana alumni will be celebrated during Viking Days 2021 for outstanding achievement in their field and for exemplifying the core values of ҹɫ��Ƶapp: Christian faith, excellence, liberal arts, community and service.

ҹɫ��Ƶapp has been named a top regional university for the third year-in-a-row by U.S. News & World Report’s 2022 Best College Rankings.

The at ҹɫ��Ƶapp opens “Project 66: The Biblical Mosaics of Dana K. Leahy,” which will be on view from Thursday, Sept. 9, through Saturday, Oct. 2.

Augustana student Tiana Townsend ‘22, of Sioux Falls, is a physics and ACS chemistry double major, who is also minoring in mathematics. Townsend participated in experiential learning opportunities while interning with the Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas, over the summer.
