The Eide/Dalrymple Gallery at ҹɫ��Ƶapp opened its annual “Augustana High School Invitational,” which will be on view through Feb. 2. A gallery reception will be held on Friday, Feb. 2, from 6-8 p.m., with the awards ceremony taking place at 7:30 p.m. The exhibition and its closing events are free and open to the public.

ҹɫ��Ƶapp announced the Dean's List for the fall semester of the 2023-24 academic year — recognizing 980 students.

While its mission, identity and core values remain the same, Campus Ministry at ҹɫ��Ƶapp will now be known as the Office of Faith & Spiritual Life — a reflection of the broad scope of work that is already taking place.

Augustana Club Hockey — set to begin in the fall — has its first head coach. Ben Prisbe has been selected to lead the university’s inaugural club hockey program, which will consist of a men’s and women’s team. A total of 155 ҹɫ��Ƶapp students are studying away for January Interim (J-Term) 2024 — a 4-week session between semesters designed to be a time of curricular exploration and enrichment for students. This January, Augustana students, along with 17 faculty members, are traveling to 17 countries.

ҹɫ��Ƶapp alumna Eleanor Weckwerth ‘23 and Professor of Physics Dr. Eric Wells were part of a research team that was published in “Nature Communications." Weckwerth and Wells joined researchers from Kansas State (KSU) and Michigan State (MSU) Universities to publish The research behind the article began in 2018 using ultrafast laser pulses at the J.R. Macdonald Laboratory at KSU.
